Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request an analysis, start an owner trial, or use a private Pocket Agency invitation, you may provide an email address, business website address, Google Business Profile address, business context, your name, your business name, and feedback about a recommendation.

Business information we study

We review information available on the business website and may study other public sources, such as search results, business listings, reviews, social profiles, competitors, and relevant local or seasonal information.

Technical information

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request details, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.

Logos and exported trial assets

When you add a logo to a trial asset preview, the logo is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to Pocket Agency’s server. Pocket Agency stores the underlying strategy and copy, but does not permanently store the logo or the PNG and SVG files you export during the trial.

How we use information

We use information to:

• analyze a business and its competitive landscape;
• prepare Business DNA previews, marketing recommendations, and finished work;
• provide private results and collect owner feedback;
• improve the quality, usefulness, and reliability of Pocket Agency;
• protect the service, investigate problems, and prevent misuse; and
• communicate with you when you contact us.

AI and service providers

Pocket Agency uses OpenAI services to help analyze supplied and publicly available business information and generate marketing recommendations. We use Railway to host the website, application, and database. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services.

We may use additional vendors for essential functions such as business email, analytics, security, or payments as those features are introduced. We will update this policy when our practices materially change.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Pocket Agency, when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

How long we keep information

Private trial and invitation links act as access keys and expire after a limited period, but expiration does not necessarily delete the associated business analysis or feedback. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide and improve Pocket Agency, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We may remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Send the request to hello@thepocketagency.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when legally required or necessary for security and recordkeeping.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health information, or other sensitive personal information through a business analysis or feedback form.

Children

Pocket Agency is designed for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Pocket Agency develops. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date at the top of the page.
